Plastic Pipe Cutters VC-02 Traditional Series, MCC-Made in Japan

The classic plastic pipe cutter, born early and still popular today. The red plastic pipe cutter or knife is often called a knife by the repairman, but the shape resembles a pair of scissors. Classic design made in Japan by MCC. Aluminum alloy frame, powder coated. VC-02 includes 2 main models with cutting diameters Ø26mm and Ø42mm respectively.

The handle is made of aluminum alloy, with a thick red powder coated finish. It has a locking travel handle. Inside, there are 2 springs and 4 notches, corresponding to 4 different jaw opening positions. The blade has a thick cross-section with tapered edges, and the lower jaw is curved to closely grip the pipe during cutting.

The cutting blade is made of hardened stainless steel, ensuring durability and sharpness. It leaves clean cuts without leaving burrs, eliminating the need for deburring. Additionally, you do not need to rotate the pipe as you would with regular scissors-type cutters.
