Important safety hints
A Always place the Torque Multiplier, STACO (Standard Socket) or STABI (Hexagon/Square Standard Connector) completely and vertically on the bolt/nut. Improper connection will result in life-threatening injuries due to splintering parts in possible overload breakages on DMA (reaction torque arm),STACO /STABI or damage to gearbox, bolts/nuts.
B The support of the DMA for absorbing the reaction torque must always be safe and stable. Correct support must be provided 1 in the area marked in green.
Attention: Incorrect placement of the support 2 (red areas) and failure to comply with theseinstructions willresult in the following during the bolting process:
- Incorrect torque application
- Possible damage to the DMA
- Deformations at support points
- Possible damage to the gearbox
- Loss of warranty.
C Keep your hands away from the DMA before bolting! Never reach with your fingers between the DMA and the support point. High risk of injury due to crushing, fractures or even loss of limbs.
