  • Do not alter or modify the clamp. Use only in its original condition and with original spare parts if necessary.

Regular maintenance is crucial to ensure a secure hold and prevent the sliding bracket from slipping. Users should clean the rails with solvent, keep them free from grease, oil, dried glue, waxes, and silicone-based release agents. The rail’s fluting and the spindle should be cleaned with a steel brush and oiled regularly. If the lower part slips, adjust the grub screw a quarter turn further. The pressure plate also requires regular cleaning and oiling.
