REMS CamSys is an ultra-light and convenient camera (Bore Scope) inspection system designed for cost-effective inspection and damage analysis of pipes, drains, chimneys, and other hollow cavities. It features electronic metering and is suitable for use following pipe cleaning operations, as well as for the acceptance of new installations or repairs. The system allows for the documentation of pictures and videos on an SD card and supports both cordless and mains operation.

The camera head, with a diameter of 25 mm, is optimized for inspecting pipes ranging from 50 to 150 mm in diameter, making it versatile for a variety of applications, including drains and chimneys. The REMS CamSys delivers brilliant pictures and videos, facilitated by a high-resolution special color camera equipped with a CMOS image sensor and 8 ultra-bright, white LEDs. The light intensity of these LEDs can be adjusted up to 1700 mcd, ensuring even illumination and vivid color pictures even in low-light conditions.

One of the system’s key advantages is its single controller unit, which features a TFT-LCD color display and can be connected to different camera cable sets to meet various requirements. This flexibility makes it possible to convert the system inexpensively to suit different inspection needs. The controller unit is ultra-light, weighing only 0.4 kg, and has a sturdy, impact-proof plastic housing that is spray protected. It includes keys for setting the brightness of the LEDs on the color camera head, a full-screen display, 2x zoom, and 4x rotation options for the image.

The system’s cordless operation is powered by an integrated Li-Polymer battery 3.7 V, 4.0 Ah, ensuring light and powerful performance. The power supply/charger is compatible with 100 – 240 V and includes a USB port and cable for connecting the power supply/charger, laptop, or other voltage supplies.

Exchangeable camera cable sets, known as S-Color sets, include a special high-resolution color camera with an optional 30 m push cable for pipes 50 – 150 mm in diameter, featuring an electronic meter counter. These sets are designed for flexibility, allowing for the inspection of small pipe diameters and narrower bends. The camera head is water-tight up to 20 m and features a strong, quick-change protective cap with an inserted mineral glass pane.
