RENNSTEIG APZ 80 delivers 80 kN hydraulic crimping force for copper and aluminium cables from 10 mm² to 400 mm². The 18 V / 5 Ah lithium-ion battery supports long operation with stable pressure. Each charge handles hundreds of crimps without loss of power.
The two-stage hydraulic system increases crimping speed and reduces effort. Operators control the pressure precisely during every cycle. A 360° rotating head allows access in tight switchgear or vertical busbars. The quick-open latch changes dies instantly and keeps work continuous.
A digital battery indicator shows remaining capacity. The 18–230 V charger restores full charge in less than one hour. The optional 120 V version supports North American voltage. The tool includes two batteries, charger, and a heavy-duty plastic case with compartments for die storage.

A pressure-relief valve prevents overload. The manual release lever interrupts a cycle safely when needed. All Rennsteig die sets from 630 201 5 to 630 210 5 fit directly. Each die follows DIN 46235, DIN 46267, and DIN 46329 standards for copper and aluminium lugs.
